About

Kathryn is an experienced graphic artist living in Middleton,Wisconsin. She has illustrated books and magazine articles for children. Her first authored children’s book was called Little Louie, modeled after her own rescue.

In addition to children’s illustration, she is a working art director and designer. Her design work has been included in such titles as Live Happy magazine, Traditional Home, Country Home, Diabetic Living, Birds & Blooms, Midwest Living, Renovation Style and Country Gardens. In addition to magazine design, she has designed logos, brochures, annual reports, cookbooks, posters and projects for BHG.com.

In addition to illustrating for children's projects she enjoys painting pet portraits. She loves to solve problems and invite the reader in, young and old(er), whatever the audience!

Children's projects have included books for Sky Pony Press, Sasquach Books, Harcourt Press, Peaceable Kingdom Press, Cricket Magazine and Magination Press.

Kathryn also has a passion for bringing art into the lives of those individuals with intellectual disabilities.
